‘Penetration’ to vie at Portland Horror filmfest

Iranian short film ‘Penetration’ has made its way to the Portland Horror Film Festival in the US.

The film directed by Sima Bonyadi, is to represent Iran at the 2021 edition of the event.

A tagline for the short, also written by Bonyadi, reads, “In the dark, you can openly hide!”

Two actors of the short film are Ali Taheri and Sima Bonyadi. Moreover, Majid Mohammaddoust is in charge of the international distribution of ‘Penetration’.

“Portland Horror Film Festival is a 4-day international festival of terror, bringing horror from around the world to creepy Portland, a tree-filled land with a deep and dark history,” international media wrote.

The 6th edition of the event is slated for July 28 – August 5, 2021.
